Forsaken World – Free MMORPG – Update Preview – Arena System

Coming soon to an update near you, it's the much awaited, much anticipated arena PvP system!
By queuing up like any other dungeon or event (by using the auto-queue system with the "T" key), you'll be able to choose whether to engage in a 3v3 or 6v6 arranged battle in the arena! You can either queue up solo, or go in with a pre-arranged group of friends. The main reason for entering the arena is to demolish your opposition though, so plan carefully for what you may face.
Matches will take place in standard death match style. A round ends after 5 minutes, or if the entire opposing team is destroyed. If neither team is completely wiped out, the side with more kills will become the victor. Also to spice up the battle, random powerups are strewn about the arena. Taking control of these powerups will provide a team a huge edge over the competition.
By participating in a battle, you'll earn points by helping your team win the match by either killing other players, or assisting your own team members. The more effective you are as a team member, the more points you'll get. By winning, you'll also earn a nice bonus. Losing a match doesn't leave you emtpy handed either, but you'll definitely not want to make it a habit if you want to be able to get in on all of the top tier rewards to be had.
Rewards range from everything from mounts to fashion, and even sets of powerful purple quality PvP gear! It will definitely be worth your while to form a solid team to regularly take on opponents in the Arena.

WHY IS THERE NO PVP AT 15.00 FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY???? 20.00 is 3am for me, it's enough that i can't participate any everyday events like khoaway and some hunt or smthing. Thank you again.

P.S. Purple gears and fashions as rewards? Wow seems PWE's going to provide us with a game that is not 100 percent dependant on cash shop to make you strong. BTW PWE, Don't make the same mistake as BOI Ancient Ruins fashions. Make the fashions availible in FW from this instance actually look "good" as I'm sure lots will agree that the BOI fashions from ancient ruins PvP instance sucked and people will be hoping to recieve nice fashions in FW from this arena and the purples are going to be fenominal.

Wow, I didn't expect PWE to do something this good. Its like a dream come true. This will be a highly anticipated feature now and will be amazing in the PvE servers, especially for those of us that like PvP but don't like being randomly attacked while going about their own business ETC. Well done on starting this instance though PWE, I look forward to testing myself against others at my level.

I hope any level above 30 can partake in the arena! But make latters for each level as in lvl 30's fight other lvl 30's and so on...

this sounds great:). would like a little more info on in. "is this a Captture the flag style event a rumble all vrs event ? how do you rate most helpfule meber ? cause a high dps hiding behind a tank with a healer is great but.. who is more valuable there ? the tank the healer or the dps ? this sounds like alot of fun cant wait to learn more :)

Im still waiting anxiously for 10+ vs 10+ (realm vs realm or not), random team battles (aka Battlegrounds). If you implement this, you rise above the competition.

not really since shaiya from Aeria games has done this and yes it was a great event but extremely laggy lol even still it was an amazing time having realm vs realm battles it was a massive warzone

This is a much needed addition to a very good F2P game, I just hope the cashshoppers wont 1-shot me when I go in there. It would be perfect if we had ranks (according to wins, not just level) so that it was somewhat balanced at all times. Newbies vs newbies and pros vs pros if you know what I mean.
