Forsaken World – Free MMORPG – Weapons and Gear

Whether you're impaling monsters or shrugging off massive blows, the way you equip your character is often times the deciding factor in how a fight will pan out.
Forsaken World has a wide and varied amount of equipment available for the aspiring adventurer. Along with regular pieces of armor and weapons, there is a variety of ways to customize these pieces of equipment to fit your play style. Socketing, identifying hidden stats, and fortification can all combine to make your set of equipment unique for your own build.
Sockets in equipment are directly related to the level of fortification you apply to it. With the maximum number of sockets being four, you will be capable of embedding a large variety of gemstones within them to increase your stats and abilities. Additionally, embedding gemstones can have several unique effects on your overall appearance.
Fortification is the bread and butter for gear enhancement in Forsaken World. Besides adding gem sockets, fortifying a weapon will increase its base statistics to new levels of power with each successful fortification attempt. Forsaken World's fortification system is very user friendly, where progress on an item is saved with no strings attached. Failing to fortify an item does not result in any penalty for the attempt.
Finally, identification is a system familiar to many players. Most items will come with hidden statistics that must be unlocked with an identification scroll. The higher level the item, the more powerful of a scroll you must use. The best part is that if you don't like the stats that are unlocked, you can reroll them with another scroll until you get the desired results.
Combine all of the above to create your own perfect set of gear! Whether you want all the extra health and defense to be had from socketing gems, or get that small edge in power by having the perfectly tuned identified statistics, weapons and armor in Forsaken World will return your devotion threefold.

so when is this game gonna actually be available to all in the public gaming sys ;) i mean we sit here anxiously waiting it looks great, but not a date of release or anathin about it so far as i can tell, i hope it is as good as it looks, and for all you lucky ones who got a beta key and playing right now gz, wish i was you, rofl!!!

gems are dropped by mobs,instances and u can buy them. You even get them by doing quests.

So, does this mean if u fail to upgrade your gear it won't break or downgrade? Or do you have to buy cash shop stuff to keep it from breaking or downgrading?

I love the fact that you can reroll the hidden slots untill you get the desired outcome you seek. Ever since I heard of the game (which was only recently) I've been on the edge of my seat with the infromation about the game gathered through this site and youtube. thank you perfect world international for making what seems to be the greatest f2p of all time.

Can anyone tell if the game is IP blocked for some places, i live in europe and woulde really like to know.

There is an IP block (I've heard) but Europe, North America and Asia are not blocked. The IP block is for everywhere else.

go to your account and see if next to forsaken world it says accepted this means you have spot in one of the betas since beta four is last thats what you will play in. If it does not say accepted then it doesnt mean you are guarnteed to play in phase 4 if not no worries, march is open beta right around the corner.

non, il faut que tu met ta clé dans ta profil (tu a une section pour ça), après il faut que tu attend 4 e-mail --> 1 pour te dire que ta clé a été mis, 1 qui te donne 2 autre pour tes amis, 1 qui dit que tu a été enregistré et 1 finalement qui te dit que tu peut jouer

closed beta phase 4 will begin end of march- start of april and there will also be a char wipe when it starts and everyone with a key can play :)

wrg 998....it starts feb23rd and yes theres a clean swipe and everyone starts fresh hopefully theres also a lvl cap to 60 or something.

I really doubt your birthday will have much influence on weather you get to play, Just wait for Phase 4 or Open Beta if you don't get a key.
